Notes from Kurt: Just a FYI - I got information on the gun rigging from the NC Maritime Museum. Bob Crane had been unable to get any info when doing the kit but when I was at the NC MM for a NRG function I saw some guns just like the Picket Boat's gun so I asked Paul about them and he was able to send me a scan of a Civil War era Gun Officer's Manual which helped a lot. Without Paul and having seen these guns at the museum I doubt I would have been able to come up with anything just like Bob.
